Opening the Disney Store!

So one of us got the pleasure of opening the Disney store on Grafton Street this morning! What a great way to start your day with a bit of the auld Disney magic! (and a fine bit of marketing and brand too dare I say!)

And it goes a little something like this…

1. Walk past the Disney store at around 9am

2. A Disney store person will give you the nod and ask would you like to help them open the store!

3. Get a little confused and try and lift the metal rope thing into the shop for her 🙂

4. Watch Someone walk across the store holding a giant Disney key! (see pic below)

5. A Tinkerbell graphic appears on the white trees in the store and they all begin to light up

6. Then a sunrise lights up a picture of O’Connell bridge

7. The guy then hands you the giant key and you all do a countdown from five (good craic!)

8. Turn the giant key in the giant Disney lock

9. Hey presto! The Disney store is open for business.

10. Receive your commemorative Disney key (again below!) walk off with , instagram it, tweet it, blog it, Facebook it and wander down Grafton Street feeling a little bit special 🙂
